Pictures

Blue Mountain girl was able to send me a couple of pictures from when they visited our house. I just love these pictures and am very jealous of her fancy camera. ;)

We all loved having baby Sweet Pea around. It gave us all our baby fix!

Isn't Spidey handsome? (Just don't tell him that!)

Oh, what nice pictures!;) I think we all know the subjects are what makes these pictures beautiful. . .I sure wish I had gotten a picture of your whole family piled on the couch! Next time. . .

Adoption Time Line

March 8 - First step in adoption process, submitted first pre-application. Still researching agencies.

March 16 - submitted formal application to adoption agency

March 19 - application approved! YEAH!

March 20 - submitted application home study.

March 27 - Kids to doctor, fingerprinted at Sheriff’s office.

April 3 - Started education classes online

April 10 - Received dossier packet. This means we are officially under contract - 6 months to finish dossier!

April 13 - orientation at home study agency. Counts as home study visit #1

April 24- Tim to doctor

April 26 - Amy to doctor

May 1 & 3 - home visits 2 & 3

May 3 - Finished all online classes

May 7 - Tim applied for passport (I have one that is still valid)

May 8 - psychological visit

May 28 - Last home study visit.

June 25 - Received official email that our home study was approved!!

July 5 - Mailed I800A form to USCIS. Now to wait for a fingerprinting appointment.

July 23 - Dossier sent to Washington DC for authentication

July 25 - Fingerprinting at USCIS office in Alexandria.

September 10 - I800-A approval date!

September 17 - Our dossier arrived back from authentication in DC.

October 10 - Our dossier was sent to China!

November 27 - LID!!! Our dossier was finally logged in!

February 21 - Woke up to an email with a possible referral. We accepted!!

Feb. 27 - Pre- Approval!! We were told it would take a few weeks. It only took 4 days!

April 17 - Letter of Seeking Confirmation (LOC)

May 5 - I-800 provisional approval

May 8 - Visas picked up

May 29 - Article 5 pick-up date

June 11 - Travel Approval

June 26 - Fly To Beijing

June 30 - Gotcha Day

July 8 - US Consulate appt.

July 10 - HOME!
