The Final Countdown

We have Travel Approval (TA)!  In a little over a week we will be on our way halfway around the world. To say I am excited would be an understatement. As we get closer I get many questions asked repeatedly. One has been, "When are you leaving?"  For weeks all I could say was, "I don't know.  We are waiting for our travel approval".  Well, that travel approval came last week!  When we got the news, my daughter who was with me thought I lost my mind...yes, I was crazy excited. We have now booked plane tickets and are counting down until we take off for China.   

Since I have been preparing for weeks, (Yes, I did say weeks!) I don't have too much to do until I actually pack my suitcase next week.  Our son's stuff has been spread out on my bedroom floor ready to be packed for quite a while.  It is just too much fun to look at to be hidden away. 

Please pray for our trip. We have some long flights ahead.  There is also this little boy who will meet his forever family and we have no idea how he will react. We do know his little heart will break as his "normal" drastically changes. And there are four children who will be staying here anxiously awaiting to meet their little brother.  What a sweet meeting that will be when our new life as a family of seven begins!
